The doves fly free for any U.S. veteran, police or firefighter funeral or memorial. If available, they can also fly free of charge, at any military or civic related event or holiday. Please contact me if needed. |
AVIAN-INFLUENZA
I keep up with the latest news and changes concerning this dreaded virus on a daily basis. I have a special interest in this topic not only because of my birds, but also because I am a medical professional. The most recent studies have shown the rock doves and pigeons to be HIGHLY RESISTANT to the virus. Only a few have been able to contract it after being exposed to viral loads beyond what they would normally be exposed to in nature. These birds do not carry or shed the virus, either. There have been no pigeon or dove die-offs in any country even where the virus is rampant. This bird continues to be the symbol of HOPE! |
